Wahoo XDR/XD Freehub Body

Wahoo XDR/XD Freehub Body — Wahoo Parts & Components

GBP 49.99 — Out of stock

SRAM's XDR and XD cassettes do not fit a standard Shimano/SRAM freehub. If you run 12-speed AXS on the road or Eagle off it, and your KICKR came with the usual HG freehub body, your cassette will not go on. This is the part that fixes that.

Fitted, it lets you run the same cassette indoors that you run outdoors, which means your gear ratios and your shifting behaviour are identical in both places. That sounds like a detail until you are doing a threshold effort and searching for a gear that is not where your hands expect it.

Who this suits

Anyone on SRAM 12-speed — Red, Force, Rival or Apex AXS — or SRAM Eagle on a mountain bike, using a direct drive KICKR. If you have recently upgraded a bike to AXS and your trainer suddenly will not take the cassette, this is why.

Who can skip it

Shimano and SRAM 8–11 speed cassettes use the standard HG body already fitted, so you need nothing. Campagnolo riders need the Campagnolo freehub instead. And if your trainer runs a Zwift Cog, like the CORE 2 Cog and Click, you shift virtually and this is irrelevant.

XDR or XD?

They are closely related but not identical — XDR is 1.85mm longer to suit road hub spacing, XD is the mountain bike version. Road AXS cassettes are XDR. If you are unsure which your cassette needs, email us the cassette model and we will confirm before shipping.
