AXIS feet replace the rigid feet on a KICKR with flexible ones, letting the trainer tilt very slightly side to side as you pedal. It is a small amount of movement and it does something disproportionate: it takes the harshness out of a fixed trainer without changing anything about how it measures power.

On a rigid trainer the rear axle is locked and your bike cannot lean at all. Every bit of the side-to-side motion that happens naturally when you ride outdoors gets absorbed by your body instead. Over an hour that shows up as saddle pressure and lower back stiffness. AXIS feet give the frame somewhere to go, and most riders notice the difference within one session — usually as an absence of discomfort rather than a feeling of movement.

Who this suits

Anyone doing long indoor sessions on a fixed KICKR who finds it physically uncomfortable rather than just dull. It is the cheapest way to get some of what the KICKR MOVE offers without replacing your trainer.

Who can skip it

If your sessions are short, or you already ride a KICKR MOVE which moves fore and aft on its own base, you do not need these. They also will not fix a bad saddle or a bad position — if you are uncomfortable outdoors too, deal with the fit first.

How much does it move?

Is this the same as a KICKR MOVE?

No. AXIS feet allow a small side-to-side lean. The MOVE slides fore and aft on a curved base, which is a much larger effect and a different sensation.

Can I put them back to standard?
