Wahoo KICKR BIKE SHIFT with WiFi Smart Bike

Wahoo KICKR BIKE SHIFT with WiFi Smart Bike — Wahoo Trainers and Rollers

GBP 2199.99 — In stock

The KICKR BIKE SHIFT is a full smart bike at meaningfully less than the flagship. It does the two things that matter most about a smart bike: it replaces your bicycle entirely, so there is nothing to mount or clamp, and it physically tilts to match the gradient, raising the front to 20% on climbs and dropping to -15% on descents.

What you give up against the KICKR Bike Pro is the very top of the specification rather than any core function. Maximum power is 2,200W instead of 2,500W, which almost nobody will ever reach, and you do without the Pro's redesigned integrated shifter handlebar, Fi'zi:k saddle and bar tape. Power accuracy is the same ±1%, the tilt range is the same, and virtual shifting works the same way — configured in the Wahoo app to whatever drivetrain you want, including Shimano, SRAM or Campagnolo shift logic.

Fit adjusts through crank arm lengths of 165 to 175mm and suits riders from roughly 152cm to 193cm. You set it from your existing bike measurements rather than by feel, and it stays set.

Who this suits

Riders who have decided they want a smart bike and would rather put the saving towards a fan, a desk or a year of Zwift than towards the last 300 watts of resistance nobody uses. It is a particularly good fit for a shared household — the fit changes in seconds between riders, so two or three people can use it properly without touching a tool.

It also makes sense if your outdoor bike is expensive or awkward to clamp, or if the appeal of indoor training is walking into the room and simply starting.

Who should look elsewhere

If you specifically want your own position, your own saddle and your own bars, a smart bike is the wrong shape of answer and a direct drive trainer keeps all of that — look at the KICKR with WiFi or the KICKR MOVE. If you ride indoors occasionally, this is a great deal more bike than you need. And if you want the absolute top of the range with the upgraded touchpoints and shifter controls, that is the Bike Pro.

Be realistic about space and weight too. It is 36kg and 153cm long, and it lives where you put it.

How it compares to what else we stock

Against the KICKR Bike Pro: same tilt range, same ±1% accuracy, same virtual shifting, 2,200W rather than 2,500W, and without the Pro handlebar, Fi'zi:k saddle and tape. Against the KICKR with WiFi: the trainer is more accurate on paper in nothing, but needs your bike and does not tilt; the BIKE SHIFT replaces the bike and adds gradient movement without needing a CLIMB.

Our best smart bikes guide puts it against the wider market.

Key specifications

Delivery, warranty and returns

Smart bikes ship via specialist courier with tracking and a delivery window, at £90, because of the size and weight of the crate. Dispatched from the UK, typically within 5–7 business days, with delivery taking 7–10 business days. Smart bikes carry 2 years on the frame and 1 year on the electronics — see our warranty page. Unused items in original packaging can be returned within 30 days via returns.

Frequently asked questions

Are pedals included?

No. Pedals are not supplied, so budget for a pair or move them across from a bike you already own.

Do I need a KICKR CLIMB?

No. It tilts on its own through +20% to -15%. The CLIMB is for adding that movement to a KICKR trainer and is not compatible with smart bikes.

How is this different from the Bike Pro?

2,200W rather than 2,500W maximum power, and it does not have the Pro's redesigned integrated shifter handlebar, Fi'zi:k saddle or bar tape. Tilt range, power accuracy and virtual shifting are the same.

Will it fit me?

It covers roughly 152cm to 193cm in height with crank arms from 165 to 175mm. Transfer your saddle height, setback, reach and stack from your outdoor bike rather than setting it by feel.

Can two people share it?

Yes, and it is one of the best reasons to buy one. Fit changes take seconds and can be saved.
